Springfield secured the NEWMAC title by defeating Catholic on Saturday afternoon.The first half was dominated by the Pride offense who scored 4 touchdowns. However, the second half and the win were secured by the defense who forced 3 turnovers and ended Catholic's hope of tying the game up. Springfiled will wait to hear who they play in the first round of the NCAA Division III playoffs next weekend.
