2021 MIT Alumni Indoor Track Meet

This year's alumni meet is the final chapter in Coach Taylor's incredible 40 year coaching career at MIT. Just to make things more interesting Coach Taylor decided to coach the "Has Beens" with the hope of toppling the very strong Varsity teams. The women were able to close the deal while the men came up a bit short of the goal. I guess father time has been a bit kinder to the women, or maybe they are just stronger. I don't remember the indoor track being so dark (makes taking pictures a bit difficult) although the suffocating dry and dusty air brought back painful memories of many laps around the track. I did not compete this year but was duly shamed into competing next year. Honestly, watching everyone else compete is enough to get me fired up and get off my fat, old ass to help the team.
